JOHN LABELLE—VETERANS SUPER ANNUITY CAMPAIGN—SUBMITTED PHOTO

t a Town Hall meeting in Sackville Nova Scotia held on January 9, 2018 we asked the Prime Minister a question referring to the Canada Pension Plan claw-back affecting Military/RCMP Veterans at age 65, or sooner, if disabled.

The question was simple: Prime Minister of Canada, Mr. Justin Trudeau, will you stand up for Military/RCMP Veterans and their Families and terminate the CPP pension claw back affecting the welfare of their Families at no cost to the tax payers?

Regretfully the PM skirted around the question and did not provide us with a reply. At reference B we asked Mr. D. Samson, MP to hand deliver our question to Prime Minister Trudeau. After numerous attempts he did not reply and continues to avoid Canada's Veterans and their Families.

Canada`s Veterans were prepared to give the ultimate sacrifice and many Families gave it their all. This situation is considered to be a shame full act on the part of the Government of Canada.
