Nominate and win during Ag Safety

in partnership with the BC Agriculture Council (BCAC), recently launched the
#AgSafetyChamp campaign. The campaign is a highlight of Agriculture Safety
Week in Canada March 13-19.
Use #AgSafetyChamp to share your experiences, tips, photos and motivation
for staying safe in your working environment.
Know someone who is a leader in agriculture safety practices? Use #AgSafetyChamp
to nominate them as a Champion of Agriculture Safety.
“Ultimately we want to help farmers continue to reduce the number of on-farm
accidents across the province. The key to #AgSafetyChamp is farmers helping
farmers – sharing tips for safety that work for you!” says Wendy Bennett,
AgSafe Executive Director.

$50 gas card. Nominations can also be made by visiting the #AgSafetyChamp
page on the AgSafe website.
Nominations made during Agriculture Safety Week will also be entered in a
draw two $100 Save-on-Foods gift certificates to be given away.
Over the past ten years BC farmers and ranchers, encouraged by safety
training & education from AgSafe, have reduced the number of farm fatalities
by 50 per cent and accident claims by 27 per cent.
The #AgSafetyChamp campaign is BC’s first ever Champion of Agriculture
Award. The 2016 Champion of Agriculture Safety will be announced at the BCAC
