ilarious mayhem is coming to the Gallery 7 Theatre stage as Panic Squad & Friends Comedy Improv returns to regale Fraser Valley audiences with their unique brand of super-clean, super-funny comedy improv on March 1 at the Matsqui Centennial Auditorium.

If you have watched the hit T.V. show, Whose Line is it Anyway?, you will know exactly what’s in store for this entertaining evening of fun. However, there will be one distinctive difference: the comedy will be totally clean!

Using only suggestions provided by the audience, Panic Squad leaps in to action, creating scenes right out of thin air. The results are side-splitting hilarity.

“The Panic Squad show is always a highlight of our season,” explains Gallery 7 Theatre’s Executive/Artistic Director, Ken Hildebrandt. “And since we’re doing a season of ‘classics’, we had to have the team back with their one-of-a-kind, classic comedy improv.”

Panic Squad combines exceptional comedic talent, a love for entertaining and commitment to excellence to create a high quality, professional show that will have you buckled over with laughter.  For over 20 years, The Panic Squad has performed across the United States and Canada for hundreds of churches, businesses, national conferences and top Fortune 500 corporations. They have appeared on CBC, CTV, 100 Huntley Street, JCTV, CBS and more.

In addition to their incredibly clean and funny improv shows, The Panic Squad uses improv to teach key elements of communication, teamwork and leadership through their improv leadership workshop series.

Playing at the Gallery 7 Theatre show will be team lead, Andrew Bright. Bright started The Panic Squad back in 1996 while attending Trinity Western University.  In 2001, he went full-time with the team and has never looked back. Joining Bright will be talented improvisers from across the Lower Mainland and Western Washington, including Steven Krajnyak, Nathan Stein and Dann Warick.
