o most of Bentley the Bulldog’s closest human and pooch pals, he is just a regular dog who does not let his stardom status faze him and is every bit as sensible and content as the next four-legged friend who lives down the street.

But for the tens of thousands who follow him online, (300,000 followers on Instagram alone), and have a sort-of adoring love-interest with Vancouver’s helicopter-flying sensation, Mr. Bentley is a celebrity in his own right and deserves all of the attention stardom inherently produces.

In preparation for the fans he will be meeting with when on-site at the seventh annual Pet Lover Show February 23 and 24 2019 at Tradex in Abbotsford, we asked Mr. Bentley’s dad Brad Friesen if he could answer a few Important questions on Bentley’s behalf.

Besides flying in a helicopter, what is Mr. Bentley’s favorite activity?

“Bentley loves just about anything that moves. The question, “Do you want to go in the car?” usually results in a head tilt and sprint to the front door. Bentley loves cards, helicopters, boats, paddle boards, sledding…basically anything that involves adventure.”

When did you first realize Mr. Bentley had superstar potential?

“Bentley has always had a great personality. He has a good amount of quirks and phobias mixed with a desire for adventure and willingness to overcome anything for food or fun. Those have all resulted in a very fun Instagram account. The fact that the world has taken notice is pretty amazing.”

If Mr. Bentley could be any breed, what do you think it would be and why?

“He would definitely be a mountain dog. We often joke about how Bentley thinks he’s a real dog. He isn’t built for hiking, climbing or adventuring but that doesn’t stop him!”

What inspired Mr. Bentley to come visit us at the Pet Lover Show?

“We wanted to come to the Pet Lover Show so we could meet all the people who show Bentley love and affection every day and every time he posts.”

When taking selfies, what is Mr. Bentley’s favorite posing position?

“Tongue out, ears up and staring directly at the food being used to catch his attention.”

Mr. Bentley will be conducting meet and greets at this year’s Pet Lover Show the entire weekend. Come get a selfie and see him up close at the Mountain Dog Booth.
